The short version

ClipSave is designed to collect as little as possible. We do not require an account for downloads. We do not store your videos. We do not sell personal data.

What we process

• Submitted URLs — processed to extract media, kept only in short-lived caches (minutes) for performance.
• Rate-limit data — IP addresses, stored transiently to prevent abuse.
• Operational logs — technical diagnostics (error categories, timings) that do not include personal content.

What we do NOT collect

• Account details (no account required for downloads)
• Downloaded media (never stored)
• Browsing history or behavioral profiles
• Advertising identifiers

Cookies

ClipSave itself sets no tracking or advertising cookies. We store one small value in your browser's local storage to remember your cookie-consent choice — this is strictly functional, contains no personal data, and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings. If optional premium features are introduced, strictly necessary session cookies may be used and this policy will be updated first.

Third parties

When you download, ClipSave fetches media from the source you provided. That source observes your request under its own policies. We add no third-party trackers to downloads.

Children

ClipSave is not directed at children under 13 (or higher local age), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
